well guys im new to this forum and my first ever forum. Im a rookie just getting started on this new hunting venture. Hope to hear of any cool places to dig in connecticut. any suggestions? live in the center of the state.

This is what I tell newbies. Try you own yard first, until you really know your machine. Then talk with friends and family and ask them to detect their private property (yards).

Once you feel comfortable, then look at your towns website about metal detecting laws in your town area.

Totlots are easy hunting. (playgrounds).
schools and parks have lots of targets, often they are trashy.
I like taking out the google live maps and see the parks and places local to me.

make sure your not in a historical designated park!! always fill your holes, and take out any trash you find.
