Beach hunting
Posted by don tyler
I noticed that, on the tide chart, thinking maybe after the storm that hit the coast two to three weeks ago... still might be worth it. I found lobster traps all the way up to the wall at Hampton Beach. For the record... no lobsters in the traps..LOL. So I think, there could be more to find from the waters edge.... and up the sands. In my words you just dont know.... anything could be found.
Childish is when someone is hunting in your special spot and you get tight about it. as you have done in the past that is childish, I spend time up at the store speaking with these hunters about hunting. NH BOB is a friend and always will be. we always pm if we have negative thoughts about something. Don Tyler

I have to agree with Don, this sort of negative comment about another forum member is in bad taste. I almost deleted it last night after it was posted but ultimately decided against it. However making negative comments about other posters is not what this board is about. If you have a problem with some the proper venue to bring it up is a PM to that person not a public comment on a board.
Been really good on hampton since the 3rd week of sept.I personally have bagged 6 gold rings since then as for hampton all the way up to wells last winter and this last spring and summer were the worst ive EVER seen no sand movement what so ever on any beach last winter followed by a summer of rain almost every day!!!!! Still good to go out but the sand has bleed back on especially on the low tide mark!!! i would suggest looking for darker sand or cuts
im just a 38 year old guy from portsmouth but have been living on the beach for 20 years and have found some amazing stuff i really got to tell ya its not just as simple as turning on a detector and running to the beach it takes alot of time to be able to figure out and read the beach /sand levels and storms but it has paid off for me!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for hampton keep an eye on it it has been pretty good this winter best time is within a couple days after a storm cause that sand will bleed back on FAST anyhow goodluck!!!!!
went out last sunday 1/24/10 to short sands up in york me detected about a hour and a half only 2.25 in change no jewerly some erossion but not enough but i wont complain i was getting targets !!!! as for this weekend it looks to be SUB-ZERO so i will pass plus im selling some minelab equipment up on ebay so i will be packing and shipping however next weekend looks like its gonna be warmer see ya at the beach everyone
